1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
- Affiliate - A person or entity approved by We Design Motion to promote our products and earn commissions through referral sales.
- Affiliate Link - A unique URL assigned to each affiliate for tracking referrals and sales.
- Commission - The percentage of revenue paid to an affiliate for qualifying purchases made through their affiliate link.
- Cookie Duration - The period during which a customer’s purchase is attributed to an affiliate’s referral. We Design Motion uses a 120-day cookie duration.
- Chargeback - A transaction dispute initiated by a customer, which results in a reversal of payment. If a chargeback occurs, the affiliate’s corresponding commission may be deducted.
- Fraudulent Activity - Any dishonest or deceptive action taken to manipulate the affiliate program, including self-referrals, fake purchases, or misleading advertising.
- Minimum Payout Threshold - The minimum amount of earnings ($200) required before an affiliate is eligible to receive a payout.
- Payout - The commission payment made to affiliates via PayPal at the end of each month.
- Refund - A customer’s request to return a purchased product for reimbursement. If a refund is issued, the corresponding affiliate commission is revoked.
- Spam - Unsolicited, excessive, or deceptive promotional activities, including mass emails, misleading advertisements, or irrelevant social media posts.
2. Overview
The We Design Motion affiliate program allows individuals to earn commissions by promoting our motion graphics templates. Affiliates receive a 40% commission on each referred sale. By signing up for this program, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
3. Eligibility
Anyone with an engaged audience interested in video editing, animation, or motion graphics is encouraged to apply. All applications are manually reviewed, and We Design Motion reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its discretion.
4. Commission and Payments
Commissions are tracked through unique referral links, and the cookie duration is 120 days. This means affiliates earn a commission if a customer makes a purchase within that timeframe.
Payouts are made via PayPal at the end of each month, with a minimum payout threshold of $200. If an affiliate’s earnings do not meet this threshold, the balance will roll over to the next month. If a customer requests a refund, the affiliate loses the corresponding commission.
5. Marketing and Promotion Guidelines
Affiliates are encouraged to promote We Design Motion products through ethical marketing practices. You may use your website, blog, social media, and video platforms to drive traffic through your affiliate link.
Affiliates must not:
- Make false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about We Design Motion products.
- Engage in spam or unauthorized email marketing.
- Run paid advertisements (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) using We Design Motion’s brand name, trademarks, or direct URL.
- Use deceptive promotional tactics, such as falsely advertising discounts or claiming an exclusive deal that does not exist.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Affiliate Responsibilities
Affiliates are expected to act professionally and ethically in promoting We Design Motion. Prohibited activities include self-referrals, fraudulent purchases, and misleading promotions. Any violation may result in termination from the program and forfeiture of earned commissions.
Affiliates will have access to a dashboard where they can track their performance, sales, and commissions.
7. Commission Reversal Policy (Fraud Protection)
We Design Motion reserves the right to review and reverse commissions for transactions that are deemed fraudulent, involve chargebacks, or are disputed by the customer.
In the event an order is subsequently refunded, a chargeback is initiated by the customer, or a customer’s payment fails due to insufficient funds, the corresponding referral commission and any applicable affiliate chargeback fees will be subtracted from the subsequent monthly payment issued to the affiliate.
If an affiliate is found to be engaging in fraudulent activities, their account may be suspended or permanently removed from the program.
8. Relationship of Parties
You are an independent contractor, and nothing in these terms and conditions will create any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative, or employment relationship between you and We Design Motion.
You will have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on our behalf. You must not make any statement, whether on your site or elsewhere, that contradicts these terms and conditions, including, without limitation, the relationship between you and We Design Motion.
9. Taxes and Legal Compliance
Affiliates are responsible for their own taxes and must comply with any local tax laws. We Design Motion is not responsible for any tax obligations related to affiliate earnings.
10. Termination Policy
We Design Motion reserves the right to terminate an affiliate account if it does not comply with these terms, engages in fraudulent or unethical behavior, or violates any applicable laws. Termination may result in the loss of commissions.
11. Limitation of Liability
We Design Motion makes no guarantees regarding potential earnings from the affiliate program. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or commissions, arising from participation in the program, system failures, or changes to the affiliate program structure.
We Design Motion shall not be liable for any interruption or discontinuation of the affiliate program, or any resulting loss of revenue due to system maintenance, technical issues, or business decisions.
12. Updates to Terms and Conditions
We Design Motion may update these terms at any time, and affiliates will be notified of significant changes.
13. Privacy Policy
We Design Motion respects your privacy and will only use the information you provide for the administration of the affiliate program. Your personal data will not be shared with third parties except as required for processing commissions, legal compliance, or platform operation.
