A1 Decoy Affiliate Program Terms of Service
Effective Date: 10.03.2025
Welcome to the A1 Decoy Affiliate Program. By signing up as an affiliate, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read this agreement carefully before registering. Participation in our program requires acceptance of these terms.
1. Affiliate Commissions
- Affiliates will earn a 5% commission on the net sale amount (excluding taxes, shipping, and discounts) of each sale made through their unique affiliate link or coupon code.
- Commission payments are calculated based on completed sales only. Any sales that are refunded or canceled will result in the commission being voided or deducted.
2. Payment Terms
- Commission payouts are processed monthly, provided the affiliate’s account has reached the minimum threshold of £100.
- Payments can be made via Bank Transfer or PayPal. Affiliates are responsible for ensuring their payment details are accurate and up to date.
- If the £100 threshold is not met in a given month, earnings will roll over to the following month(s) until the threshold is reached.
3. Cookie Duration
- The affiliate tracking cookie lasts for 7 days. If a customer makes a purchase within 7 days of clicking your affiliate link, the sale will be credited to your account.
- If the customer uses another affiliate’s link within that 7-day period, the most recent referral will be credited.
4. Prohibited Activities
To maintain the integrity and reputation of the A1 Decoy brand, the following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Spamming:
- No unsolicited email, forum, or social media spam is permitted.
- Why? Spam damages our reputation and can result in legal consequences.
- False or Misleading Claims:
- Affiliates may not make false claims about our products or guarantee results that are not substantiated.
- Why? Ensures accurate representation of our products and compliance with advertising laws.
- PPC Bidding on Branded Terms:
- Affiliates are prohibited from bidding on A1 Decoy brand name keywords (e.g., "A1 Decoy") in paid search advertising (Google Ads, Bing, etc.).
- Why? Prevents direct competition with our in-house advertising and reduces customer confusion.
- Cookie Stuffing or Tracking Fraud:
- Affiliates may not use methods that automatically set cookies without user consent (cookie stuffing).
- Why? It undermines trust and violates privacy laws.
- Offensive or Inappropriate Content:
- Affiliates may not promote A1 Decoy products on websites or channels that feature violence, discrimination, illegal activities, or adult content.
- Why? Protects the brand image and maintains compliance with UK advertising standards.
5. Use of A1 Decoy Branding
- Affiliates are welcome to use A1 Decoy branding, including logos and product images, provided they are not altered in a misleading way.
- Affiliates may not present themselves as employees or representatives of A1 Decoy.
6. Termination
- Either party may terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause.
- Upon termination, affiliates must immediately cease using all A1 Decoy branding, links, and promotional materials.
- Any unpaid commissions earned before termination will be paid according to the standard payout schedule, provided the £100 threshold has been met.
7. Governing Law
- These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
